When I woke, we were still close. Even as cold as it was outside, we’d never made it under the blankets. I couldn’t remember the last time I’d actually slept with someone I, well, ‘slept’ with. My stomach fluttered with worry that last night had been a one time thing. That now Levi had gotten it out of his system, he’d lose interest.

But shortly after I opened my eyes, he stirred, twisting in my arms to smile at me. “Morning.”

“Morning,” I replied. I bent my neck experimentally toward him, and was pleased when he craned his neck in response to kiss me.

“Mm,” he said afterward, “morning breath. Very sexy.”

I chuckled, and chased his mouth down for another kiss, this one deeper, our tongues tangling for a moment until I was hard again, and he shifted his hips against me, seemingly interested in going again.

He reached behind him to find me hard and grinned. “You don’t stop, do you? Is that a dragon thing?”

“I’m pretty sure it would be an anyone-lucky-enough-to-be-pressed-against-you-like-this thing,” I said.

“We could always go for another round,” he suggested coyly, wriggling more urgently. “Last night is all a bit of a haze, I’m not sure I remember much of it clearly.”

“Now who’s insatiable?” I asked, my lips pressed to his ear. “We should probably get out of bed, though, and I’m betting that ass needs a bit of a break. Plus, I have work to do with Paul, and you’ve got a play to write, I believe.”

Levi groaned. “Ah, I see. So when you want to go for hours it’s fine but when it’s me...”

I chuckled, and dug my fingers gently into the sensitive spot inside his hip. “Is that you telling me you want to go for hours?”

He laughed, wriggling against me as he pulled my hand away from the ticklish spot, until I let him wrap my arm around his chest again. “No,” he admitted. “I’m worn out. And sore, too. Nobody talks about how sore having a big dick in your ass can leave you.”

“Well,” I mused, “to be fair, I am exceptionally large. It may not be everyone’s experience.”

He rolled his eyes at that. “There it is,” he muttered, “that sexy humility again. How did I ever resist?”

With that, he pushed me away gently. “Alright,” he said at last, “let’s get cleaned up. You’re not wrong.”

I left the bed, though only reluctantly, and I took him to the shower where we stole a few more moments enjoying the comforts of naked bodies entangled and took turns scrubbing one another down. When the hot water ran out too soon, we scrambled to rinse and rush out to dry off.

“What’s the plan for the day?” he asked.

I smiled. “Any reason you want to know?”

“Well,” he said, “I’d say we could do something later but... I’m not sure what that would be. It’s not like Fate’s Peak has much to offer. Coffee at the diner? A walk through the snow that we aren’t equipped for? This place needs… anything at all, honestly; just something to do.
